From New Jersey Turnpike:
Take Exit 9 to Route 18 North.
Take Route 18 North to New Brunswick, to New Street exit.
From New Street, turn right onto Neilson Street (first traffic light).
From Neilson Street, turn left onto Bayard Street.
Courthouse is on the right, 3 blocks up.
From Garden State Parkway:
Take Exit 129 to the New Jersey Turnpike; head south. Then proceed as above.
From Perth Amboy Area:
Take I-287 North to exit for Route 27 South (New Brunswick).
Take Route 27 South into New Brunswick. After crossing the bridge from Highland Park into New Brunswick, Route 27 becomes Albany Street.
From Albany Street, turn left onto Neilson Street (second traffic light).
From Neilson Street, turn right onto Bayard Street (third right). Courthouse is 3 blocks up on the right.
From Somerville Area:
Take I-287 South to Exit 6 (C.R. 527, which is Easton Avenue in New Brunswick).
Take Easton Avenue to the end and turn left onto Albany Street.
From Albany Street, turn right onto George Street (2 blocks from Albany Street).
From George Street, turn right onto Bayard Street. Courthouse is a block down on the right.
From Western Monmouth and Ocean Counties:
Take Route 9 North to Route 18 North.
Take Route 18 North to New Brunswick, to New Street exit. From New Street turn right onto Neilson Street (first traffic light).
From Neilson Street, turn left onto Bayard Street.
Courthouse is 3 blocks up on the right.
Parking for Middlesex County Courthouse
Parking can be difficult in New Brunswick because parking lot and parking deck space is limited and available street parking is also limited. The three largest public decks are the
Ferren Deck on Church Street, the Church Street Deck between George and Neilson Streets, and the New Street Deck at the corner of New Street and Joyce Kilmer Avenue.
Another deck, Morris Street Deck, is scheduled to open in 2005. It will be at the corner of George and Morris Streets. There is also a small parking lot on Bayard Street, just before the Courthouse.
